Transport Mode
Q: Which car models have transport mode?
A: The V11, V12 and subsequent V-Series models all have a transport mode.
Q: How do I enter/exit shipping mode?
A: Shipping mode can only be entered in the app; it can be exited in the app or by plugging in a charger.
Activation
Q: Which car models have the activation function?
A: V11, V12 and subsequent V-series models have the activation function.
Q: Can it be used normally without activation?
A: When the vehicle is not activated, a voice prompt "Please activate the vehicle" will be given after the device is turned on, and the speed limit is 5km/h.
Q: How do I activate the vehicle?
A: After turning on the vehicle, start the mobile phone APP and connect the vehicle. The activation page will automatically pop up. Follow the prompts to activate.
Lock the Car
Q: Which car models support locking the car?
A: V11, V12 and subsequent V series models have a lock function.
Q: How do I lock the car? What happens to the car after it is locked?
A: The car can only be locked/unlocked in the APP, and the owner authentication is required in the APP before locking the car. The car is disabled after locking, the motor has resistance when pushing, and there is a "Do not move" or similar sound effect when moving.
Password
Q: How to set a password? What are the types of passwords?
A: After the car owner is authenticated in the APP, find the password setting. The password only supports numeric passwords, and the password length is 4 or 6 characters.
Q: What happens after I set a password? What if I forget it?
A: After setting the password, you need to enter the correct password on the vehicle display screen before you can use the vehicle. If you forget the password, you can use the APP account that has been authenticated as the owner of the vehicle to unlock or modify the password.
Speed Limit
Q: What happens if I ride faster than the speed limit?
A: When exceeding the speed limit, the vehicle will gradually tilt the pedal to a certain angle to force the user to slow down, accompanied by a speeding voice alarm.
Q: Why does the speed seesaw when the speed limit I set in the app is not reached?
A: Low battery can also cause the vehicle to rock.
Abnormal Noise from Motor
Q: What should I do if the vehicle shakes violently or makes unusual noises after it is turned on or while riding?
A: Check the degree of vehicle vibration and remove the outer shell to determine whether the motor shaft is loose. If it is loose, tighten it; if the motor shaft is broken, replace the motor.
Boot Error
Q: What should I do if the vehicle reports an error message (Please repair) and cannot be balanced after starting?
A: Connect the APP to detect and diagnose vehicle problems, and then check whether the vehicle battery voltage is too high. If the battery voltage is too high, remote calibration is required after the battery is fully charged.
Q: How to deal with the error message (Please repair) (Overload, Please get off) while riding the vehicle?
A: Connect to the APP to detect problems, which are usually caused by the driver board or battery. If no problems are detected, you need to upload the log (APP-Vehicle Settings-Fault Detection-Upload Log) for further inspection.
Cannot Boot
Q: What should I do if the display panel does not light up after the vehicle is turned on?
A: It may be caused by incompatibility between the driver board and the human-machine board (or Bluetooth board). Plug in the charger and connect the vehicle with the APP (you can search and connect Bluetooth even if the display panel is not lit) to check if there is a firmware update. If so, you can upgrade it directly. If there is no firmware update, you need to push the corresponding firmware to the user according to the current software version of each mainboard.
Q: What should I do if the display panel does not light up after the vehicle is turned on, but it can self-balance?
A: It may be a fault with the human-machine board (V11) or the Bluetooth board (V12). This can be solved by replacing the corresponding mainboard.
Unable to Shut Down
Q: The vehicle cannot be turned off after being turned on and used for a period of time. What should I do if I still cannot turn it off by long pressing the power button?
A: If the APP is connected for detection, it will prompt that the device cannot be shut down normally. You need to check whether the battery switch port cable is properly plugged in.
Unable to Self-Balance
Q: What should I do if the vehicle cannot balance itself after starting?
A: You can connect to the APP to check whether it is in transport mode or locked state, or whether there are other fault prompts.
Battery Cannot Be Fully Charged
Q: What should I do if the vehicle battery cannot be fully charged to 100% and the charger does not display a green light?
A: Connect the APP to check the battery pack information (APP-Vehicle Settings-About Vehicle-Battery Details) to see if the voltage difference of each battery is within 0.5V. If the voltage difference of each battery is greater than 0.5V, one of the batteries may be damaged and needs to be replaced; if the difference is within 0.5V, you need to contact R&D to further confirm the problem.
Ambient Light
Q: What should I do if the vehicle's ambient light does not light up?
A: You can connect to the APP to check whether the ambient light is turned off (APP-Vehicle Settings-Ambient Light Switch) or in some special modes (such as "Follow Music" under V12 can only be seen when connected to music Bluetooth and there is audio output). If not, you can re-transmit the ambient light in the APP. If it is not displayed after re-transmission, it may be a motherboard failure.
Voice Broadcast
Q: What should I do if all the vehicle voices are not broadcast?
A: You can connect to the APP to check whether the vehicle sound volume is too low (APP-Vehicle Settings-Volume). If not, you can check in the APP whether the vehicle sound is in a muted state (APP-Vehicle Settings-Sound Customization). If not, you can reselect the sound package transmission in the APP. If it still cannot be played normally after retransmission, it may be a mainboard failure.
Power Off During Riding
Q: What should I do if there is a sudden power outage during riding?
A: Connect the APP to check whether the vehicle reports a fault. If not, check whether the battery voltage is abnormal. If not, ask the user to upload the log (APP-Vehicle Settings-Fault Detection-Upload Log) and contact R&D for analysis.
Tail Light Failure
Q: After the vehicle is turned on, the taillights flash intermittently or do not light up. What should I do?
A: Check whether there has been a serious crash, etc. Usually, you can just replace the taillight assembly.
Headlight Failure
Q: After the vehicle is turned on, the headlights do not light up and cannot be turned on by pressing the power button. What should I do?
A: Connect to the APP and confirm whether the headlights can be turned on in the APP. If not, the headlight assembly needs to be replaced.
Firmware Upgrade
Q: How do I upgrade the vehicle firmware and how do I determine whether the upgrade is complete?
A: When the mobile phone is connected to the Internet, the APP connects to the vehicle and receives a push notification of the new firmware. When the vehicle is disabled, click Upgrade to upgrade the vehicle. After the upgrade is completed, the APP will prompt that the upgrade is successful.
Q: What happens if the upgrade fails?
A: If the upgrade fails due to misoperation during the upgrade process, the vehicle cannot be used normally and is in a disabled state. The vehicle needs to be upgraded again. After the upgrade is successful, the vehicle returns to normal.
Battery Life Estimation
Q: What should I do if the battery life estimation is inaccurate after it is turned on?
A: You need to ride a new bike for more than 3km to accurately estimate the range. You only need to ride enough mileage to make a normal estimate.
Standby Time
Q: What should I do if the car automatically shuts down soon after I play music while it is in reverse position?
A: Find the standby time setting in the APP settings page. The maximum setting is 120 minutes. If you want to standby longer, you can stand the vehicle against the wall.
Fault Detection
Q: My car breaks down and I want to locate the problem. What should I do?
A: There will be a fault icon on the car display. Click the icon to view the fault content (the display is in English). You can also connect to the APP and click the fault icon on the APP home page to view it, or enter the fault detection function in the settings page to view the fault information.
Low Battery Safety Mode
Q: When the battery level of the bike is less than 50%, I want to speed up, but the speed is limited and I cannot increase it. What should I do?
A: Find the low-battery safety mode on the APP settings page and turn it off. However, safety issues that may arise when riding at high speeds after turning this mode off are the responsibility of the user, so it is not recommended to turn it off.
