Hey there, future (or current!) INMOTION rider! 👋 Got questions about your awesome electric unicycle? You've come to the right place! We've put together this friendly guide with answers to the most common questions about our fantastic range of unicycles, from the beginner-friendly E20 to the high-performance V12S. Let's roll💨

Transport Mode 📦

Q: Which unicycle models have a transport mode? A: The V5 series and V8 standard version do NOT have transport mode. The rest do.  This mode keeps your unicycle safe during shipping.

Q: How do I enter/exit transport mode? A: You can enter transport mode only via the INMOTION app. To exit, you can either use the app or simply plug in your charger! Super easy! 😊

Activation 🚀

Q: Does my unicycle need activation? A: This is an important one for safety and proper function!

• The entire V5/V8/V10 series does NOT require activation.
• For V11, V12S, and later V series unicycles, YES, activation is required! Your device might prompt you with a voice and limit speed to 5km/h if not activated. Make sure to connect to the INMOTION app and follow the activation prompts for full functionality and safety updates!

Locking the Unicycle 🔒

Q: Which unicycle models support locking? A: The V5 series and V8 standard version do NOT have this feature. However, V8F/V8S, V10 series, and V12S owners can enjoy the added security of locking their unicycle!

Q: How do I lock my unicycle, and what happens after it's locked? A: Locking and unlocking can only be done via the INMOTION app, and you'll need to complete owner authentication first. Once locked, your V8/V10 series unicycle will be disabled, the motor won't function, and it will play a "Do Not Move" or similar sound if someone tries to move it. For V12S, the anti-theft system includes remote locking, tracking, and movement-triggered alarms! 🚨

Speed Limit ⚡

Q: What happens if I ride faster than the set speed limit? A: Your unicycle will gently, but firmly, tilt the pedal upwards to encourage you to slow down. You'll also hear a speeding voice alarm as a friendly reminder to ease off the throttle! Safety first! 😉

Q: Why does the speed "seesaw" even though I haven't reached my set speed limit in the app? A: The speed limit you set in the app is the maximum speed under ideal conditions. When your battery is low, the unicycle may automatically reduce its speed limit to protect the battery and ensure a safer ride, which can cause this "seesaw" feeling. Charge up for optimal performance! 🔋

Motor Issues ⚙️

Q: What should I do if my unicycle shakes violently or makes unusual noises after turning on or while riding? A: Yikes! 😬 First, safely stop riding. Then, check for any visible vibrations. You might need to carefully remove the outer shell to inspect the motor shaft. If the shaft is loose, try tightening it. If it appears broken, the motor will need to be replaced. For any serious motor concerns, please contact support!

Boot Errors 🆘

Q: What should I do if my unicycle reports an error message immediately after turning on, or stops and reports "Please repair"? A: Don't panic! 😅

1. Connect your unicycle to the INMOTION app. The app is your best friend for diagnosing vehicle problems and often provides specific error codes or messages.
2. Check your vehicle's battery voltage information within the app. Abnormal voltage can cause issues. If the problem persists, reach out to customer support with the error details from your app!

Ambient Light ✨

Q: What should I do if my unicycle's ambient light does not light up? A: Let's get your lights shining! 🌈

1. Connect to the INMOTION app. Go to APP > Vehicle Settings > Ambient Light Switch and make sure it's turned ON.
2. If it's on but not working, try re-transmitting the ambient light settings in the app.
3. If the lights still don't come on, it might indicate a mainboard failure. Time to contact support for a deeper look!

Voice Broadcast 🗣️

Q: What should I do if all vehicle voice broadcasts are not working? A: Can't hear your unicycle? Let's check the volume! 🔊

1. Connect to the INMOTION app. Check APP > Vehicle Settings > Volume to ensure it's not too low.
2. Also, verify if the vehicle is muted under APP > Vehicle Settings > Sound Customization.
3. Try re-selecting and re-transmitting the sound package in the app. If silence still reigns, it could be a mainboard failure, and our support team can help.

Power Off During Riding 🛑

Q: What should I do if there is a sudden power outage while riding? A: This can be startling, but we're here to help!

1. Safely come to a stop.
2. Connect your unicycle to the INMOTION app to check for any reported faults.
3. Verify if the battery voltage is abnormal.
4. If no faults are found and battery voltage looks normal, please upload the log (APP > Vehicle Settings > Fault Detection > Upload Log) and contact our customer support for a thorough analysis.
