If you've purchased a used INMOTION product and are having trouble registering it in your account, the unit is likely still linked to the previous owner's account. This is a common situation, and we’re here to help. Below are the steps you can take to resolve it.
✅ Step 1: Try Contacting the Original Owner
If possible, reach out to the original owner and ask them to remove the product from their account in the INMOTION app. Once they unlink the wheel, you’ll be able to add it to your own account without issues.
📝 Step 2: Request Account Unlinking Through Us
If the original owner is unable to help — for example, if they no longer remember their login — don’t worry. We can help by removing the previous account binding so you can register the wheel under your own account.
To proceed, please provide:
📄 Proof of purchase (invoice, receipt, or sales contract)
🔢 Serial Number (SN) of the unit
🔐 Why You Can’t Register the Wheel Right Away
Each INMOTION wheel is connected to a unique account as part of our anti-theft and safety features. If the wheel is still registered to the previous owner, it must be unlinked before it can be added to a new account.
🛠️ What If the App Says You’re Not the Main Owner?
Sometimes, even if you are the rightful owner, the app might still display a “You are not the main owner” message. This can happen due to a glitch.
Here’s what you can try:
🔄 Ask us to manually reset the device's binding
✅ Try re-adding it again after unlinking
This often resolves the issue and gives you full access and ownership.
